Adam Caffrey, rider of Petrolio, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Imperial Duke, trained by Daniel McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

B.M. Coen, rider of Ischgl, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.

217B Guinness Beginners S'chase

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Glens Sensation, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost its action and was pulled up.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders' first approach to the starter where it appeared they broke into a canter before the flag was raised. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Ocastle Des Mottes breaking into a canter despite his riders best efforts and that no further action was warranted.

217C Guinness Galway Blazers H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Antrim Coast, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Kevin Healy, rider of Warriors Wood (GB), trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was interfered with at the first fence and his saddle slipped.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Antrim Coast, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset leaving the parade ring and on the way to the start.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the first fence involving A Penny A Hundred (FR), ridden by B. Hayes, A Law Of Her Own, ridden by Alan O'Sullivan, and Warriors Wood (GB), ridden by Kevin Healy, where it appeared Warriors Wood jinked left into A Law Of Her Own causing Alan O'Sullivan to be unseated. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the riders' first approach to the starter involving Jalila Moriviere (FR), ridden by S.D. Torrens, Ballybawn Belter, ridden by H. Cobden, Intense Approach (GB), ridden by A. Harvey, Kings Hill, ridden by J.J. Slevin, Yoradreamer (GB), ridden by D.E. Mullins, Moonovercloon, ridden by Michael Kenneally, A Penny A Hundred (FR), ridden by B. Hayes, Shanbally Kid, ridden by J.W. Kennedy, Rising Dust, ridden by D. Meyler, Where's My Jet, ridden by P. Townend, Hermino Aa (FR), ridden by T. Joseph Kelly, Warriors Wood (GB), ridden by Kevin Healy, Antrim Coast, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, Rexem, ridden by Josh Williamson, and Charlie Luciano, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh where it appeared all riders were cantering before the starter had raised his flag. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found all riders were in breach of Rule 208, in that they had not obeyed the starters instructions, and having considered the records of all riders in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended S. D. Torrens, H. Cobden, A. Harvey,J. J. Slevin, D. E. Mullins,M. J. Kenneally, B. Hayes, J. W. Kennedy, D. Meyler, P. Townend, T. Joseph Kelly, D. J. O'Keeffe and C. Stone Walsh for one race day and Kevin Healy and Josh Williamson for two racedays each. The Raceday Stewards also reviewed the riders' second approach to the starter and were satisfied that no further action was warranted in this regard.
Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards also wished to interview P. M. O'Brien regarding the matter but inlight of his absence the Raceday Stewards referred the matter on to a senior racing official for further investigation.

217D Guinness H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Touch The Moon, ridden by C.D. Hayes, and Kingstonian (GB), ridden by J.M. Sheridan where it appeared Touch The Moon ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. D. Hayes stated that it got tight and he had to check. J. M. Sheridan stated that his mount dived right and he corrected but it went again when he thought he was clear of the horse on the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J. M. Sheridan was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (second offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended J. M. Sheridan for four race days.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Touch The Moon, trained by William Durkan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was interfered with late on.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Kingstonian (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount dived right when it hit the front.

L.F. Roche, rider of Navy Waters, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no run.

217E Guinness Irish EBF (Fillies) M'dn

S. Coen, rider of Capolinea, trained by Patrick Magee, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

A.C. Persse, rider of Ocean Fire, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green coming down the hill.

S. Foley, rider of Trumph, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

217F Arthur Guinness H'cap

W.J. Lee, rider of Mr Perth, trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was squeezed up leaving the stalls.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Aquilla Star, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount was hampered from the stalls.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Snaafy (GB), trained by David Loughnane (in GB), reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after leaving the stalls involving Mr Perth, ridden by W.J. Lee, Aquilla Star, ridden by Siobhan Rutledge, John La Bear, ridden by B.M. Coen, Jp's Express, ridden by W. Joyce where it appeared Mr Perth ran short of room and clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. W. J. Lee stated that he received pressure from his inside and ended up on heels and caught a heel. Siobhan Rutledge stated that she was squeezed up. B. M. Coen stated that he received a bang from his inside and he got unbalanced. W. Joyce stated that his mount got a fright and jumped left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Jp's Express stumbling and going left after leaving the stalls and they did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the dip involving Sweet Baby Zou (GB), ridden by J.M. Sheridan, Down The Glen, ridden by S. Foley, and Belle Nuit, ridden by C.D. Hayes where it appeared Belle Nuit got tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. M. Sheridan stated that the horse in front rolled around but he maintained his line. S. Foley stated that he maintained his line C. D. Hayes stated that the horse in front rolled in and tightened him up. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards granted permission for Aurora Mist to run without the declared tongue strap

217G Hop House 13 H'cap

S. Coen, rider of Baila Conmigo, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got unbalanced turning in.

Reese Holohan, rider of Hexagonal, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly left.

Siobhan Rutledge, rider of Mr Rango, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.

S.T. McCullagh, rider of Nancee Spain, trained by Daniel McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was impeded by the loose horse.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Lauro's Legend, trained by P.A.Fahy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages of this race involving Baila Conmigo, ridden by S. Coen, Coulstys Way, ridden by R. Whearty, and Nancee Spain, ridden by S.T. McCullagh where it appeared Coulstys Way clipped a heel and unseated. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Coen stated that his race was run when he moved in slightly and received pressure from his inside. R. Whearty stated that the horse in front was moving in and out and he clipped a heel. S. T. McCullagh stated that he maintained his line but got a little unbalanced when he received pressure from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R. Whearty was in breach of Rule 214, in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended R. Whearty for two race days

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.J.Martin, trainer, in relation to his charge crossing the middle of the parade ring. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that the groom leading up his charge had been kicked and he was already late when he took over to lead up the horse and he crossed the ring and apologised for his actions. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that A. J. Martin was in breach of Regulation 16 and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards fined A. J. Martin €500 on this occasion.

For this meeting, The Raceday Stewards suspended the "Starting procedures for tape starts" and the IHRB suspended Rule 208 (i) and Rule 209 (i)
